The AppleTalk Internet Router allows AppleTalk network systems such as LocalTalk, EtherTalk and TokenTalk to be interconnected to form an internet.  The router moves data from one network to another transparently so that the internet functions like a single network.  Each Internet Router can interconnect up to 8 networks.  A total internet of up to 1024 networks can be created, allowing net-working addressing for up to 16 million nodes.
